“Our first time at this restaurant and it turned out good! I ordered the chicken wrap and it was really good! I was expecting it to be a cold wrap but the chicken was sauteed with onion and was delicious! My hubby had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well!! The waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full. The only thing I didn't care for was the tips are placed in a jar at the register and I'm assuming then split at the end of the night. However, we would return to try new items on the menu.”

“The quality of the food has gone down dramatically in the last 10 years. Most of the kitchen staff are Hispanic which throws you for a loop seeing as it's a Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere has a good vibe as far as decor goes. They had decent sushi for a VERY short time. The staff have always been friendly and on point.”

“Tasty and fresh Chinese food. The teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, and dumplings were delicious. I had Mongolian Beef which tasted smoky (in a good way) and hot off the wok. Hubby’s hot shredded beef and son’s curry chicken were yummy as well. The Chinese sugar donuts at the end were great as well. Try this place!”

“It was a really great variety of home cooking and baked goods. Salad bar too. Service wasn't wonderful. Asked for things I never got. There was something under cooked as well and when I showed the waitress she said it always looks like that in the middle but the cooks swear it's cooked thoroughly and safe... bright pink hamburger meat is NOT cooked. The bar wasn't kept up clean from spills very well and food not refilled fast enough for a all you can eat buffet. HOWEVER, the food that was cooked thoroughly was really good and desserts was awesome! I would try it again.”

“This is a nice place to stop and have a good meal and a cold beer. We love this place. We come here often and have for years. At lunch it’s crowded. They had live music tonight and I will have to say, this guy was very good. Atmosphere is soft and comfortable. Kid friendly. I had wings and they were great. They had a nice special tonight prime rib dinner 15.99$. My wife got it, and it was perfect! This place is managed well. Really good food. Good service. Family friendly. I highly recommend stopping by here anytime of the day.”

“Girlfriend and I went to check this place out. We were very excited because Newton needs more places like this. Bar and restaurant were very nice. They were very busy. We sat at the bar, drank a beer and ordered food to go. Service was sub-par because they were so busy. That is fine, I understand that happens. The issue was the food. We order a burger, mac and cheese, salad, and wings. My burger was overcooked, they forgot my mac and cheese, and the salad was just a hand full of lettuce. We paid over 50 dollars and left the bar tender a 8 dollar tip on a to go order. We tried to call after we got home, no answer. I want this place to do great, but they need to work on the food service and quality.”
