Cheers Bar and Grill

Very nice atmosphere and as others have said, they have a great better selection. The food selection is also very good. It's nice to have another choice to catch dinner with friends in Newton.

Girlfriend and I went to check this place out. We were very excited because Newton needs more places like this. Bar and restaurant were very nice. They were very busy. We sat at the bar, drank a beer and ordered food to go. Service was sub-par because they were so busy. That is fine, I understand that happens. The issue was the food. We order a burger, mac and cheese, salad, and wings. My burger was overcooked, they forgot my mac and cheese, and the salad was just a hand full of lettuce. We paid over 50 dollars and left the bar tender a 8 dollar tip on a to go order. We tried to call after we got home, no answer. I want this place to do great, but they need to work on the food service and quality.

Food was better than expected.. very impressed.. service was excellent also.. the atmospehere was on par with the food and service.. i cant think of anything to complain about other than parking because the place was packed

Everyone needs to try Cheers in Newton. Even if they are on a slight wait it goes very quick. Service is great. They have a wide variety of beers to offer. Perfect place to meet up after work with friends to talk and have a few. The work they put into this place shows! A must try!!
