Edenton Bay Oyster Bar

Wasn't busy at..just right for a Saturday night out. Food was excellent ..appetizers sushi tuna and crabmeat and pita chips were excellent. Took awhile to get your food but hey when you get great tasting food who cares...bring along someone you like to talk to..hint hint..we ordered southern oysters: he loved, crab cakes full of crab not bread.. recommend, seafood pasta needed some spice..the grilled plate: shrimp and tuna, fried shrimp and oysters...all was very excellent and cooked to perfection. Now the French fries were the bomb..we all left full and sleepy. Thank you for a wonderful evening..

Service is enthusiastic but spotty and needs better training and product knowledge. Meals are a tad on the slow side but the quality is generally above average. Bar and menu items may or may not be available depending on how well management is paying attention or as the wait staff expressed, what the cook decided to prepare or leave off. Item prices run the gamut from very reasonable to clearly overpriced. Given the available competition in the area this restaurant is as safe a choice as any other.

Food was delicious, view amazing, and the decor was very simple yet elegant. I would love to give this place 5 stars. Sadly our waitress was inexperienced and ignored our table through the first half of the hour long wait for our food. Yes. It was an hour from the time we ordered before we were finally served. I would recommend this place if you are not very hungry when you get there and have PLENTY of time.

Amazing food!! Above and beyond service and super clean restaurant!! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, a super modern, clean restaurant on the water with a gorgeous bar. The food was super fresh and perfectly portioned and seasoned. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. This was a wonderful, refreshing stop on our way through the state.

The oyster specials we're delicious. Clean plump.and sweet. The owner Chris, and the entire staff are very customer focused and genuinely friendly. I will definitely eat here again when I traveling through the area. A must stop if you are in the area. Located on a great marina, so for my fellow boaters stop in ..
