    We had the luck of hearing about this amazing establishment from friends and decided to make the 1 hour trip over to try it. We are all so glad we did. Absolutely one of the best dinners that everyone in our party has ever had.

    Starting off with perfectly cooked in an amazing sauce escargot, we all used the rolls to soup up the concoction after finishing off the perfectly cooked snails and speaking of rolls they were amazing.

    The soup last night was a mushroom concoction that had deep rich flavor

    Several of us had Salads and they were good but nothing worth writing about.

    Entrees for the evening included
    - filet mignon with crab topping and baked potato
    - perfectly cooked Scallops
    - Crab cake
    - Oyster shooters
    - Pork Belly

    For dessert we had Banana Foster and something “Creme Susan” that was amazing.

    What were amazed was how not only the entrees were perfectly cooked and seasoned - but each side stood out as amazingly prepared as well.

    Service was good - but not great, waiter tried hard but seemed very busy.

    This was as close to a perfect dinner if we have ever had one

    Bill for 4 people including 7 drinks was $ 260 - well well worth it

    We will Definitely be back

    Everything was wonderful! Ordered a medium rare filet and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Even the carrots, used as a garnish, were wonderful. Service was prompt and courteous.

    Only thing that could be better is larger restrooms; a single person at a time is not sufficient for such a busy restaurant.

    The Copper Door is not "inexpensive", especially for Western Carolina, but it is the best overall restaurant. Great menu, consistently well prepared food, excellent service. Have not found better.

    Best service I've ever had, seriously! The food is amazing as well. Great atmosphere. They get it and they deliver an impressive experience from start to finish. On top of their game. So refreshing!!!

    The food is simply amazing. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and made excellent recommendations. This is a great place for a date. Will definitely go back if I am ever in the area again.
