    Awesome little diner/pub off the Town square in Shelby, NC. Older building with a lot of character (owners are trying to add their touch with the decor) Ordered a Rueben which was done correctly and tasted great. Beer offerings were adequate, small cooler had a few more choices, would be nice to see more on tap but that may come with growth. Don't miss this place if you find yourself in Shelby!

    J birds has the best sandwiches in town no doubt about it. Tap selection has something for everyone as well as a few wines in bottle. Great service. Try the Reuben.

    Edited to add...we LOVE this place. Consistently great food and staff. It's our favorite. Great selection of beers for sale from all over the region, their taps always have a good variety, too. Menu is limited but they do it well and the specials are yummy looking! Service can be slow....this isn't a quick bite place generally but it's a wonderful place nevertheless to enjoy a pint and snack and conversation with pals.

    Great lunch spot. Will definitely be back for a drink! Awesome beer selection and the food was so good. Fresh Boar’s Head meat and cheese and organic Annie’s bread. Portions were generous for such a low price.
