El Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

Very tasty authentic traditional style Mexican food. Lots of menu items. Great service. Really enjoyed it all.

Great for a date, or your 15+ friends

This is a very colorful place. If I had children, I would definitely bring them for that experience alone. The staff are polite. Everything on the menu is exceptional. I will say it’s a little odd that the nachos come mixed with vegetables and that the chips are over cooked sometimes. Other than these flaws; I would highly recommend eating here.

Damn near the best Mexican food you're going to get in the area. Visually this place is crazy. Just a ton of color throughout the restaurant- I loved it! The service was top notch and our waiter was very attentive. They didn't skimp on the booze in the margaritas and the food was cooked just right. My quesadillas were just brown enough and very filling. I hope these folks keep up the good work, this place is a gem.

Visited while in town and was surprised to find such an excellent Mexican restaurant in Shelby. I had a combination (vegetarian) plate and it was excellent. I had a margarita which was also excellent. We were there with a knowledgeable local who said it was a really good restaurant. Service was good. Pretty much a brightly lit, family environment, but not too noisy.
