Take out order was we ordered and it was well presented. The food was a four which is good for a takeout meal.
We will do it again.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. She asked me could she get the Marshall Dillon for her birthday as a joke. The waitress took notice. After we were almost done with our meals, she & the remaining wait staff came out to do the birthday cheer. It was cool. Texas is her favorite steak restaurant.

I had the small ribeye and it was delicious. The salad comes cold and fresh and they have the best baked potatoes in New Bern! Tip: The bar is a cozy place to eat with top notch service and drinks!

The food is good. Just good. Not over the top extraordinary, not bottom of the barrel bad. It's good. The cooks sometimes have difficulty in adhering to the rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-rare, and well done rules of steaks and just send everything out one way. Usually that way is well done. For the most part however the food IS tasty and the atmosphere pleasing. Just don't go on a holiday, such as Mother's Day, and expect to be seated promptly. You'll be waiting a while. ☺????????
