316 Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill

I was in town visiting for a poetry competition and stumbled upon this gem. All I had was oysters and they were pretty good. They made them the way I wanted and I had a good time chilling with my friends. The waitress was very helpful and she even complimented me and my attire!

Went there on a Friday night. The parking was not an issue. Hostess was very friendly. We decided on sitting directly at the oyster bar. Our waiter/oyster shucking master was Nick. He was really funny and friendly. The drinks were good and my friend ordered the raw oyster Rooster Shooter. He liked it so much that he ordered two more. We got to keep the shooter glasses. The restaurant serves you a basket of hush puppies and honey butter to munch on while you wait. They were great. Our meals came rather quickly. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Tip: sit at the oyster bar if you want to have a bucket of oysters as they don't offer that service to the table serviced guests. Overall i recommend this place to anyone who loves oysters and fresh seafood. Eat here rather than somewhere like Joes for date night or ladies night. Its cozy and the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating... Its also great for group gatherings.

Always a great place for a meal. For dinner on the weekends it's normally packed in the front area so if you want a table that isn't in the bar you may wait a bit. The bars are full service however, including food.

The oysters are fresh and very well priced. We go relatively frequently for those alone.

Besides the long wait, which we expected do to being Mothers Day weekend, Graduation, and we also had a party of 10 everything great. The food was excellent and our waiterTrevor was phenomenal. He kept our drinks full and got all our items correct. Being a former waiter and a Restaurant Manager, I would give him 5 stars alone. The food came out hot, seasoned well and came out in a timely manner. I will definitely be back to dine here again and invite all my friends and family as well

First time eating at the 316 Oyster Bar. I had the combo with fried flounder and shrimp with rice. Everything was great but the shrimp were exceptional. Best fried shrimp I have ever had. Our waiters name was Trevor and his service was outstanding. Polite and quick. Drinks came right away, our appetizer (gator bites) was out in minutes. The hush puppies were crazy good. I could have eaten the whole basket. There were televisions with sports playing but wasn't a typical "sports bar" atmosphere. They managed to keep a fine family seafood vibe going. Very impressed with this place and will return. Thanks again to Trevor, we had a great time.
