Cape Fear BBQ & Chicken

Out of this world BBQ. Run and staffed like an Old South fast food restaurant, the food is to die for. Wide menu. Very popular and sometimes you might have to wait whether you are in the take out car line or inside. But well worth the wait...fried chicken, pork BBQ, collard greens, Cole slaw, Brunswick stew, soul food, hush puppies, sweet tea. Just like you remembered it from the days you grew up in the South!!

The barbecue was the best I’ve tried and the service was friendly. I was in town for a visit and ordered a pint of barbecue to take back on the plane to bring to my husband. They not only gave me the pint I ordered, but some extras as well!! Such southern hospitality!! My husband was over the moon with the flavor and loved the sauce!! Thank you, Cape Fear Barbecue!

The food, customer service, and atmosphere was great. I really appreciate the employee sink ... I was able to wash my hands without taking a bathroom from someone else.
The place was inviting. I do plan on going back again.

We enjoyed the dark combination plate. The fried chicken and the chopped BBQ were both well prepared and tasty. The sides and hush puppies were good as usual. The prices were reasonable. The only thing that could have been a little better this visit was the friendliness of the cashier. Check them out.

Best pull pork sand with coleslaw on it.
Grab a ice cold lemon aid and a cup of
Banana pudding.... And were done.
Always clean dinning room and restrooms. Friendly service. No long waits.
