Massey Hill Grill

This place is a hidden charm that takes me back to the days when my grandfather and I had a regular lunch routine of going to similar joints.

Not fancy in any sense. Simple and good food made right before your eyes. The ladies who run this joint are awesome, loving folk and can they cook!

Lunch is good here. For example, a day ago I had a hamburger steak with onions, creamed potatoes, green beans and a tea for six bucks and change. I've also pretty much eaten everything else on the menu. The fried chicken sandwich and the club sandwich are hard to beat.

But the best of all is the breakfast. For five bucks and change you can pretty much fill up before starting the day. The biscuits and gravy is really good and so is the steak biscuit with home fries.

The daily breakfast and lunch specials change each day on a regular schedule.

A lot of good folk come here and after a while everyone knows each other. Give it try if you find yourself driving by.

The shakes are made with real ice cream, not flavored with syrup. The hamburgers and fries are fresh of the grill and the ladies are always in good spirits ????

The food was great, the staff was great, but the other customers besides me were looking at me as if they were biting their tongues. When I got my food, and walked to my car, the car beside mine locked. It's been a while since I've been personally judged by the color of my skin and that's what it felt like to me.

A nostalgic, quaint and friendly grill. The orangeade and milkshakes are fantastic!

Very nice little dinner!! The ladies always super friendly and always takes great care of me.
