Corolla Village Barbecue

We stopped during a trip up the coast for pulled pork sandwiches with slaw and mac n cheese. The food was fairly bland and the outside eating area had quite a few flies. Based the food alone, this was in the bottom two for places we ate during our one week stay at OBX. Maybe the other menu items are better.

We happened upon this place a three years ago when my husband and I were out walking. We love it!! We needed up going there a couple times that week. I was just in Corolla last week and my hubby only came for a few days but as soon as he got to the house he dropped off his things and went straight to this stand to get food. The next day we went back so he could try the ribs. Everything there is so good!! Highly recommend it!! My only complaint is all the flies. It would be great if they could put up fly traps or bug zappers. ????

Nice off the beaten path, Carolina BBQ. Carolina vinegar base sauce. Order at the window, sit outside under the tree and enjoy the sun and shade while they prepare the food. Prices and food are great, you can buy extra sides and buns if you need them. But save the time and buy your BBQ dinner from here and look like a hero. Will return when we return to the OBX.

Food is fantastic! Only complaint is the bugs outside (flies). It's so good that I deal with it but it would be awesome if there was something that could be done about those bugs. Love the place tho and the food! ❤️

Food is very good. It is Carolina style so vinegar is used instead of tomato as a sauce base. Service is very good. Extra sauce was forgotten and when we returned they gave it to us no questions asked.
Will definitely be back.
