The Kill Devil Grill

Outstanding! Even in the off season, we had a wait (about 15 minutes), but it was well worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Philly cheese steak egg rolls were good, but the grilled haddock on cheezy grits was exceptional. My wife had the steak burger and really enjoyed it - cooked exactly as ordered. And the key lime pie was the perfect finish. Definitely one of our go-to restaurants in the Outer Banks from now on!

Staff was knowledgeable and very quick. I enjoy a place that serves "upity" type foods like braised kale, or fresh goat cheese, but I also like a place that serves comfort food, like today's special, fresh caught halibut, on a bed of cheese grits. Now because when you are taken out to eat, you're only supposed to order something comparable to the person treating you, I ended up ordering a burger, I was good. But there was nothing special about it. However my wife ordered the grilled fish sandwich, which today was halibut, and I'll say it was fantastic. Fresh and delicious. I would go back, but I would pay for myself, and DEFINITELY get one of the specials

Really good place to get some great local food. Normally a wait due to the popularity but definitely worth it. Their chicken wings with homemade ranch dipping sauce is out of this world. Friendly and attentive staff with a very clean facility. Make sure you stop by if not twice while your down in OBX for vacation.

Hands down one of the best places to eat on the beach. As a local, this is one of the few restaurants I frequent. Food is fresh, innovative and delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Well worth any wait time!

Everything was good. Skirt steak was perfectly cooked. Smoked wings had a great balance of smoke and sauce flavor. Homemade ranch sauce was delicious. Servers were rushed but attentive and hard working. Only knock was flat soda, but it was busy.
