Barefoot Bernie's Tropical Grill & Bar

I stopped here for lunch while touring the area. The reviews were good so I decided to try it. The staff was very friendly. The food was what you expect from this type of establishment, just average. Most of the restaurants in this area are similar, touristy type places, they're pretty much all the same.

The food and service is top notch! It might seem like just another seasonal so-so restaurant, it definitely is not! I’m a very picky eater and when I mentioned to the waitress that I couldn’t eat what came with my special (after she had served it), one of the chefs immediately came to the table & asked me what types of foods I could eat! Within a few minutes he was back and had taken the time to make me a very special plate! The Salmon (with an amazing glaze & sauce) melted in my mouth, I have never had better! My new sides were just perfect, he had certainly impressed this restaurant critic! The restaurant was overwhelmingly busy, yet he took the time to make this customer feel very special! Another outstanding food experience that I would make it a point to go to again and again. Don’t let the crowd outside fool you, we waited all of 5 minutes to be seated! Enjoy!

Great food and good service! Always was sure that my drink was filled up. It was a loud but not unpleasant. There was a long wait to be seated when we went but it was well worth it. Very very busy at certain time and day, up to 45 minutes wait. Highly recommended!

Our first night at the beach and we saw Barefoot Bernie's and decided to give it a try. There was a fairly long wait for a table, but with 4 adults in our group, we took a seat at the bar. We had nice appetizers and took advantage of the margarita drink special. We were also able to order from the full menu while seated at the bar. The menu had a nice variety and we enjoyed everything. The service was great and the prices were reasonable.

Food was excellent and staff was on their game. Our waitress, “B”, did an amazing job. Extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She really did a great job! Everything from the beer selection to entrees were amazing!
