The Inn on Pamlico Sound

The entire staff that we met was friendly, courteous and attentive. The Inn is in a very quiet spot away from any noise or disruptions. The room was comfortable roomy. We had a private balcony with a wonderful view of the sound. The restaurant was fantastic. Breakfast and dinner had large portions and were delicious. The wait staff was very attentive, especially Dallas. Only about 10 minutes to Cape Hatteras Light house. If we go back to the area again we will definitely go back, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go in the area

Me and my husband had our wedding here in May! The venue is beautiful, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day! All of the staff were very professional and friendly, they definitely helped to make our day special. Meredith was our wedding coordinator and did a amazing job at putting everything together better then I envisioned! The communication was fantastic and made the planning so much easier considering we live in Ohio. Oh and the food was the absolute best!! Complete excellence from cocktail hour to dinner! Everyone loved the food! We really appreciate everyone at the Inn that helped make our wedding day one of the best days of our life! Me and my husband will definitely be back to stay sometime in the future!

My husband and I got married here in 2020 and it was such a gorgeous venue to have our wedding at. The views of the sound are unmatched! Since we had a credit from our wedding, we decided to book the room we stayed in on our wedding night for our anniversary this year. We stayed in the Jasmine room and the king bed was probably the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on. The robes and little snacks they leave in the rooms is a nice touch too! Also, everyone who works here is so kind and helpful and really made us feel welcome during our stay. We definitely want to come back again!

First of all this place is a hidden gem. We stayed in the sunflower room and it was so cute. The views are incredible. Very convenient to everything and very quiet. This was our first time in an inn too. This is our go to place now. Thank you. Very clean and the king bed was the best. The cafe serves a great breakfast. Also good cookies in the afternoon and the little goodies left in the room were an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Lucky to get a room too on short notice. Very accommodating too.

This place is a GEM in Buxton. It was perfect place for my husband and I to get a little get away. The views of the sound were spectacular. The staff very helpful guiding us to pick a room and discuss availability and very communicative prior to our stay and during our stay. The room was clean and well stocked. It was so helpful to have access to beach chairs, beach umbrellas and they even had floats, canoes, paddle boards and kayaks for guests to use. We opted for room service breakfast each morning and the food was delicious and we could enjoy the view while eating. I would highly recommend to anyone!
