Lalo's Tacos

Super surprised to find such a great taquería here on the Outer Banks! All was delicious and muy rico! The fish tacos recently won an award, the huarache was saboroso and the churros we're on point! We left happy, full y muy contentos!

This is the best Authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. I ate here everyday I was in town except for one and that was because they aren’t open Mondays. Best tacos I’ve had anywhere in all my travels. Everything I had a chance to try was fresh and delicious. Great service and great food, the staff really made this trip one to remember for me. I will be back next trip for sure!

Our family of four visited on a Sunday evening when many other local restaurants are closed. The only disappointing thing is they say have dining in available. They have a very small area where you can eat on-site indoors. There are some tables outside.

The food was terrific. We ordered the nachos and loaded fries. Both were tasty. For our main courses we had the 3 tempura shrimp tacos, antipasto salad, the beef tongue tacos, and the steak tacos. Everyone enjoyed the well flavored food. It came out pretty quickly.

This restaurant also has a split Italian and Mexican menu. It was a good experience, just be prepared to take out or eat outside. Lots of people were ordering take out and picking up orders while we waited and ate our meal.

Some of the best food in OBX for real. The fish tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had in my life and the flan was incredible. Also really good pizza (coming from a New Yorker). Better than most sit down restaurants here for 1/4 the price.

Giovanni's Restaurant and Lalo's Tacos share the same storefront. While the wait was over 30 minutes, the food was really good. They took a lot of orders over the phone. We ordered the Pastor Torta, 3 tacos, and churros. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the long wait.
