I loved my chicken sandwich but husband expected it to be pulled chicken so 4 stars. We ate outside bc our dog is along this vacation. It was a great day weather wise so we were lucky they had outside seating available.

Always good! Nice staff, owner is right there cooking the stuff. Love the screened porch, it's a barbecue oasis. Get the potato salad.

Small off the road barbecue joint. The building is screened in and has a decent seating selection inside. It’s counter service and they turn food around fast! The food was solid, we got the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese and fries and it was enough for two to share. Bathrooms are outside but still in good condition. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!

Good Carolina BBQ! We enjoyed a burger, and a fish sandwich also. All of which was good. The staff is very friendly. Their seating is in a screened porch with fans going, not air conditioned.

Found this place on the way to the aquarium from the OBX. Had a dirt/gravel parking lot, but it hat a lot of cars there at an odd time of the day. We stopped on the way back. Another odd time of the day, but the line went right out the door. So glad we did. A very down to earth place. The eat-in dinning area is basically a screened in porch, but there were as many locals there as there were tourist, but everyone seemed friendly. Staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent. We had to wait a bit for our food as they got swamped just before we got there, but it was worth the wait. Would definitely go back if we are in the area again. Highly recommend.
