Fullsteam Brewery

New to Durham, been to Fullsteam 3 times and have loved it. My thoughts:

What was great:
•All 6 beers I have tried have been very good, no off flavors
•Wide selection of beer types (not just IPAs or sours like some trendy breweries now). Something for everyone
•Staff very nice
•Atmosphere is urban modern, trendy and relaxed
•Food smelled amazing (although have yet to try)

What you might avoid:
•They have tap water containers out, but the water tastes like metal and garden hose (think of when you drank out of a garden hose as a kid). Normal durham water does not taste like this. Not a deal breaker, just drink their beer instead. :)

Overall, I offer my highest recommendation.

Lunch (bratwurst) was really good. And the Mac n cheese was a great surprise.

The beer was all very good, especially Warmest Color. Just a beautiful beer.

Staff was great and the atmosphere was laid back.

We stopped here on the way to Hatteras. It was a great find! The food was good, beer was excellent, bartender was awesome. We highly recommend!

Awesome craft beer. I am quite partial to the Working Man’s Lunch and the Carver; but they’re all great. Very kid friendly during the kiddo hours. My kids love the pinball machines. Cheers to plow to pint! Oh, great food available too.
