We love coming here to grab a hot dog, fries, and shakes. Every city needs a place like this. The menu does way more than you would first expect, but everything we've gotten here has been great!
King’s sandwich shop is this great little corner walk up space in The heart of Downtown Durham. Seems like a good place to go after a night of drinking. They have some outdoor seating but not much. I have the carrot dog which was good and novel to order but I would not get it again. Stick with the veggie dogs. Tots are good too.
Killer sandwich! Pulled pork. Fries were warm but not hot/fresh. Taste ok. Had a light dusting of seasoning. Don't forget to add salt to your fries before you leave; I won't make that mistake again. Could be good for others if they don't want salt. It came altogether in a box which is great on the go(see pic) quick friendly professional
Super juicy burgers here! This unassuming corner spot is really good! The people working here are a fun group and worked really fast. I had a double burger and it was phenomenal. It is a high stack burger, and the king sauce was really tasty (way better than Mac sauce). I would highly recommend this place!
My wife and I stop by King's Sandwich Shop for lunch today. We both enjoyed our meal. Pricing was good. I had the Texas Burger and the wife had Shrimp Po Boy with their King sauce. The sauce tastes good. The Texas Burger was a 2/3 Patty with pull pork on top with two onion rings and BBQ sauce. It was pretty good only con was the buns were a little stale. I would recommend going here for good food and cheap eats. Great for a quick stop.
