Good food and fine service. Comfortable seating inside and outside. Great desserts and very reasonable prices.
The food and service was excellent! Sireen and Quincy were friendly and very helpful! I will definitely be back for lunch again!
Neomonde is definitely a gem! Was just here for the first time, and their manager was the absolute kindest. As a lover of Mediterranean cuisine, they did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and tasty, and they have lots of vegan and gluten-free options as well. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Durham and looking for a delicious and healthy meal that won’t break the bank.
It’s no secret that when the warm southern weather starts to bear down, there’s no place I love to eat more than Neomonde. Yes, a Mediterranean culture is going to know how to eat well when a person has been sweating all day. The staff here is always friendly and the food is on point.
If I could make one suggestion, and I’ve talked about this with managers at other locations, it would be to have more of the side selections that other locations have. Those are the whole reason I go. The Durham location is close to my house, but I will drive out of my way to go to the Morrisville location because they have those cold summer salads. Often, that will be a whole dinner for me. Don’t get me wrong. I love the sandwich special and the kebabs, but I miss the beet salad and black bean salad and lemon potatoes.
When I was young, I frequented Neomonde in Raleigh almost weekly. First time at the one in Durham. The good was the line moves fast, the prices are good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My better half rated their food as her favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the whole Triangle. Only a couple of minor quirks I had with the food. The humus was a little coarse for me as I like it smoother, tho I know I'm in the minority and most people don't like it the consistency of baby food. But the taste had a little too much citrus. The stuffed grape leaves were the toughest I have ever had. So much so that I didn't finish them. And usually there is no grape leaf that I will leave untouched. The lamb kafta had a great flavor even with a pita that is a little harder than I'm accustomed to. Overall this is a very good restaurant.
