Redd's Restaurant Equipment

Redd's Restaurant Equip is a smaller establishment, with a great variety and good stock. I picked up an array of a few commercial knives and a huge cutting board; for very reasonable prices.

I was greeted immediately, which I always appreciate and the lady was available whenever I needed her.

I do plan on going back.

Outstanding store! Not only do they offer quality products at fair prices, but they have the best customer service of *any* store I've ever been in. It is a small store and you can miss it from the road. It's in the lot right next to the Burger King. It may be small but you will find what you need here and you'll be happy to give them your money.

Best things to get : 1. Bar equipment, anyone who has ever worked in a bar or restaurant will immediately be appalled at how much "home cocktail sets" cost, buy everything you could need (shaker, strainer, jigger) and a set of spouts here for less than 10 dollars.
2. Quarter and eighth size sheet trays. The common size of a sheet tray (one that will fill a rack in a normal oven) is actually a " half tray." So, quarter trays are half the size of a normal tray (perfect for when you're making two things that need to be actually separated or when you just don't need to make a full tray) and eighths are about the size of a piece of paper (mine fits in my toaster!)
3. Wire racks. The wire racks many people use for letting cookies cool are cheap and saggy. These are cheap in price but not in construction. They're even better for cooking. Anything where you don't want the food (usually meat) to sit in it's own grease ( bacon, ribs, some fish) or get to sticky (ribs again) while baking, you pop a wire rack under there and let the air circulate and the meat not glue itself to the pan. Best of all, they are sized with the sheet pans so they sit flush inside for perfect use and storage.
4. I could go on and on, good knives, pizza pans, a crisper, 2 to 12 qt food storage containers (great for flour!), cutting boards.

Last, but not least, if you can't find what you're looking for they will really help you. When I couldn't find a clear squirt bottle , the owner offered to just open up a six pack of squirt bottles and sell me one. They really just care about getting you what you need more than making $ off of you, not something you see every day.

Excellent service! I was greeted when I entered and had multiple people assisting me to find the items I needed. I highly recommend this establishment. The prices are much better than other restaurant in equipment stores I’ve visited.
