The food is delicious. I loved the hush puppies and the mac and cheese. Staff are friendly and inviting. I can't wait to come back.
I can't describe happiness but here is a picture of it. I have not had better YET and this was out of this world! The ladies and gents working here were very sweet and I highly recommend this gem of an establishment!
Delicious food, amazingly friendly owner and staff! Our group sampled eachother's food so we had a well rounded experience of the food. Catfish was the best I have ever had! The brisket, turkey and chicken and sides were all great! We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town.
Southern style BBQ in graffiti-walled structure. The menu is written in chalk. We waited in line for quite awhile, and for me the brisket plate I got in the end was disappointing. About a third of the meat was just fat. The yams were tasty, although smothered in a somewhat watery sweet sauce. The BBQ beans were also drowning in sauce. I used the three hush puppies that came with the meal to rescue some of the beans. The best part about this restaurant is the graffiti that covers almost all walls. Fascinating. My lunch partner had the pulled pork sandwich, and she said it she would come back for it, as long as it has those BBQ beans on top.
