Island Cuisine

Currently watching my wife eat the Kare Kare. This place is simply the best. They have friendly and attentive service. The food is so very well executed. I had the combination pancit and loved it. Haven't had Filipino cuisine this good since I lived back west. I wholeheartedly recommend the experience. I even like the playlist in the background.

Very neat and welcoming spot. They provide big meals and for inexpensive prices. I enjoyed the menu a lot and the waiters were super affable and chatty. Highly recommended.

Drove to this Filipino Resto which i found on Google Maps while driving in Winston Salem, the pork sisig was a bit dried, was expecting it to be mixed with chilis & Lemon but to no Avail. The Pork Kare-Kare was Fantastic very delicious. Would try to order there Pork Blood Stew (Dinuguan) next time. As this place is out of my area from Charlotte NC.

The pork is a little too fatty. Overall though pleasant tasting. I'll try it again but I'll be sticking with the chicken or tofu. Friendly and attentive staff.
The kitchen crew was genuinely interested in our opinion of the food. I liked that.

Fabulous service! Friendly and accommodating in every way. Time was spent explaining the menu. Food was fresh and healthy. My husband and I got a bowl. It has rice or greens and then the vegetables and meat I choose on top. Perfect! So excited to have this restaurant in our community.
