Steak 'n Shake

Good place for slow food served fast. Good menu variety and food always comes out hot and fresh and quicker than expected. Staff has always been friendly on my visits, and will still serve you without rushing you even if you walk in a minute before closing time.

Very good experience. The waitress did her job well. The double burger I ate had salsa, jalapenos, and crispy onions on it and it was ravishing. The fries were amazing with the parmesan cheese on it even though the portion wasn't as big as I would have liked considering the size of the fries but tasty nonetheless. I got a side of coleslaw and had to add salt and pepper to it though cause it was a tad bland. The strawberry cheesecake shake was to die for.

Have driven by these restaurants for ages. Always wondering what I was missing. Today we had our grand kids with us. They too said they had never eaten here. So we decided to go for lunch. What a pleasant surprise . Good parking, good service , food was very reasonably priced and well cooked. Definitely going back more often from now on. Loved the thin cut fries. Nice fresh lettuce, tomato etc on burger.

I went here today for lunch with a work buddy. I had the Wisconsin Butter burger with cheese and sauteed onions. WOW what a great tasting burger. It's way better than any fast food chain and I will dare to say better than 5 Guy's. Plus lunch with a drink and fries was only $6.00. I will definitely return and recommend Steak 'n Shake as a good lunch option.

Food was decent. Service was good; our server did a good job (he is why it's 4 stars and not 3). Not crowded on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. However, if you have to use the restrooms at this location - run and run far away. The sink in the men's bathroom just stays on, will not turn off. Niether restrooms had paper towels. Even after it was mentioned to staff. But the bigger factor was that the restrooms were NASTY, both of them! Smelled like an uncleaned restroom at a gas station, you know the ones. Will not return to this location.
