It is quaint and cozy! The Colonial setting makes it a perfect place for a romantic dinner. It is muli-floored, so bear the in mind when making reservations and mobility is an issue. The offerings on Sunday brunch menu are so good!

Food was good and authentic. It was pretty fast service as well. We were with a field trip group so we needed our food a bit faster than normal to keep up.
My one concern/complaint is that the kids meals are not on the menu so we ordered off the menu and realized she was able to order chicken tenders (something she would have eaten much better).

Our food was excellent! My wife said the chicken salad crossiant was the best she has ever had. Everything was great, food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended....

The atmosphere takes you back in time, and the food is locally sourced from farms in the surrounding counties. The restaurant changes up period cocktail specials frequently, so it's nice to try out items that were in your great-great grandma's recipe book. Great place to stop for lunch while visiting Old Salem. Staff is friendly and efficient. The salads and desserts are delicious.

Accommodating and conversational staff. We arrived 45 minutes before lunch ended without a reservation, but they seated us immediately. It was the second day they reopened after the holidays (they close for about a month) and were very busy; however, there wasn't a long wait for our food.

The waitress shared about the history of the area and recommended things to do in both Old Salem and downtown. We followed her recommendations and had a great time!

They recommend reservations for all meals. I tried calling during lunch and no one picked up the phone, so I would say to call beforehand. Again, just stopping in worked for us.

We will probably return to try more food! What we had was delicious and decently priced for lunch. I would like to try the quality of the more-expensive dinner plates.
