Beautiful old house with some cool history.
The place feels so homey. I particularly love sitting outside or hanging out in the bar area to have a drink before dinner.
The service is wonderful, the menu is really unique and the food itself is delicious.
Our waiter, Matt, was fabulous. He knew the menu perfectly, didn't have to think at all to answer our questions. He was attentive when he needed to be and left us alone when he saw he wasn't needed. If you like Thai curries, then you will love the Thai chicken and mushroom soup. It was chock full of chicken and had great flavor. I could have eaten several bowl of this. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and was very moist. The salmon was also on point. The butter cake was awesome as well. The staff, the food, the ambiance - what a great way to celebrate an anniversary.
This place is fairly good, considering a few factors. First, the menu is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE which is expected of an upscale place like this, but still offputting. Also, the menu is very pork and meat heavy. They do have VEGETARIAN OPTIONS, which may or may not be vegan. The food is very tasty, but again it is very pricey. All in all it is pretty good, just very expensive. This place is vegetarian friendly, but NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY. Would recommend for a formal meal.
Amazing place. It has such a nice ambiance. I’d recommend trying the bread sampler. It comes with a lot of breads and spreads (probably enough to serve four people). Honestly I’d probably come back just to have the bread sampler and some drinks it was so good. The service was also really good.
I have visited a few times now and have enjoyed each experience. Service is always great. I always look at the menu before going so I know I will enjoy what is offered. One of my favorite meals was a pork chop with sweet potatoes and Brussels. SO GOOD! I also enjoyed on valentines day a few years ago a "love potion" from the bar, a pink drink in a martini glass with dry ice. So cute.
