Yamato Express of Gastonia

I've tried many different Japanese restaurants in the past; and often when I go out of town , Japanese food is what I look for; but i am yet to find one that compares to Yamato Express.
The quality and taste of the food is on point, everything is delicious .

Hibachi Big shrimp & broccoli!

Don’t know if this place has new owners or what but big change since a few years back .. gave another try and wow I’m impressed. Keep it up Yamato ????. Taste is much better than the Japanese express places on the east side of town.

We are so glad to have them on our end of town. Very good selection to pick from on their menu. We do the carry out most of the time. And for some of the social security retirement seniors. We have even bought just one order of something like the hibachi chicken with carrots and mushrooms. And there was enough for both of us. .????????

Really good Japanese food, really fast service, should be called Yamato Super Express. Food is always good and tasty and the prices are reasonable. Restaurant is clean and well organized, seats are spacious and staff is friendly. Plenty of parking.
