J Peters Grill & Bar

J Peters is fantastic. There's only one downside, though - it's a loud restaurant. My wife and I went Saturday evening and sat next to each other so that we can enjoy the very beautiful river view. Even sitting next to each other, we could hardly hear one another let alone our waitress. The food, though, was phenomenal. I ordered the prime rib and will absolutely do so again. We're already planning on going back. We were also stopped outside the restaurant by the manager on duty but while introducing himself was informed by another waiter that we weren't the ones he was talking about. An odd exchange to an otherwise good meal. Would definitely recommend but be prepared to not hold a deep conversation with your dining party.

We had a wonderful experience here! I cannot wait to go back. Staff is professional. This is a very nice place. It has great atmosphere. I always enjoy a good rare prime rib!

Excellent food and excellent service! Second time here and it didn't disappoint. Had a salad and baked potato soup. Very delicious! My mom had the she crab soup which she said was excellent. Can't wait for it to warm up and sit on their patio!

We love this place. If you are looking for (not so) hidden gem. This is not. Sit on the deck and enjoy the great weather or sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere. It's a great place. The food is pretty much always on point. The price is good. The cocktails are custom and really good. Come for a date or with family or just come to chill at the bar. You cant go wrong.

Good use of the waterfront. Delicious food in a beautiful setting right on the river with wonderful views. Large outdoor patio. Looks like they have music. Excellent bar. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Very friendly attentive staff. Plenty of parking and you can rent kayaks or boats. Great place.
