U.S. National Whitewater Center

Awesome place and great vibe no matter the day you go! Truly enjoy just walking around be able to grab a drink and relax. Many things you can do, from rafting, to biking, hiking, rock climbing, zip lining or just grabbing food. I did the white water rafting and had a great time. The guides are funny and helpful, they want you to have a good time. Highly recommend.

I like the concept of this place a lot. There are many different ways to have fun here. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the safety equipment for the zip lines and ropes courses is the most cumbersome I have ever seen, and I've done quite a few of both. There are better ways that still ensure safety, and the course designers should get out and visit some other parks to see how it's done.

I got to visit this location because of my work and I would highly recommend this facility. Super great staff and very helpful. Jessie helped us with the team building exercises and I cannot remember our white water rafting guide but he was awesome too. The water felt great. The equipment is well maintained. They have several safety measures in place to help in case an event happens in addition to a safety briefing before rafting ever starts. The food was great. The facilities super clean. Not over crowded. Would definitely recommend reservations if you have a large group. We didn't get a chance to participate in the zip lines or the biking/ hiking trails they have on site because of time restraints but a return trip is in the future for my family and myself to enjoy those another day. Highly recommend. Most definitely visit. Plan on spending several hours here because you won't want to leave.

This place is awesome. I had an all activities pass and it was definitely worth the price. I felt very safe and clear with the instructions given to me. I’m not a very adventurous person but especially after the river obstacle course, I feel like a strong independent woman now. Definitely will be back more often.

It was the best time I have had since moving to North Carolina... It is so laid back and safe.. I feel incredibly safe there even while my husband is not with me. Everyone is professional and so much fun.. the white water rafting was incredible.. The double down zip line, while initially quite terrifying, was amazing. I can't wait to go back.
