“We walked in at 9:50pm & the staff was pleasant and welcoming . We did not realize they were closing the lobby at 10 until we got to the door. If we weren't frozen and starving we wouldn't have stayed and we would have taken the food to go. The manager came to the register and went out of his way to say you are welcome enjoy your meal as long as you need to. I thought that was above and beyond!! Great service!”

“This is one of my favorite place to eat! They have a great affordable lunch menu through the week. Their dinner plates are large enough to share. I often get take out. I call in my order, then I use the easy pick up window located on the side of the building. Their food is delicious. They provide fast, friendly service!”

“Good food, great consistent ice cream sundaes and Blizzards. The service is far better than you would expect from the appearance of the restaurant. The dining room and bathrooms are dirty and not well maintained and the building in general is shabby. It is well past time to renovate and make the counter traffic flow better and offer a more inviting atmosphere in general.”

“J Peters is fantastic. There's only one downside, though - it's a loud restaurant. My wife and I went Saturday evening and sat next to each other so that we can enjoy the very beautiful river view. Even sitting next to each other, we could hardly hear one another let alone our waitress. The food, though, was phenomenal. I ordered the prime rib and will absolutely do so again. We're already planning on going back. We were also stopped outside the restaurant by the manager on duty but while introducing himself was informed by another waiter that we weren't the ones he was talking about. An odd exchange to an otherwise good meal. Would definitely recommend but be prepared to not hold a deep conversation with your dining party.”
