Home cooked food (comfort food), daily plate specials. Lots of seating, quick service. Very friendly people working here. This is one of my new favorite places. Also like the Durham location but much more parking and seating here. Prices are almost as good as fast food prices but this is home cooked comfort food that is really good. Have had fried chicken, fried fish, country style steak, pork BBQ ribs (pieces). All were very good. Biggest problem is deciding on what to get as all are very good. Good sized portions and great value. Can't wait to go again

Pork chop was good. Mac & cheese was super greasy. We were there for a late lunch. Only 2 other people there. We may try again at lunchtime maybe it will be better ?

Great country food, most excellent service. Had lunch twice there really impressed.

We visit this restaurant several times a year. (6-8).. always clean, very friendly. Standard specials each day. Hot & ready for quick to eat and takeout fast. They close early at 7:00 so not always convenient especially in the warmer months. But definitely recommend if you like simple southern home style plate foods.
