“Great food and excellent variety for small eatery! Today was my first time going here and I was pleasantly surprised, my friends also loved the food too and we were able to take a box of macaroons home. Service was great and the furniture very comfortable, air conditioning was good and there was a steady flow of customers, all served promptly. There are also a couple of outside tables, the Owl themed decor inside and out is very cute. Will definitely be going back and introducing more people to this eatery.”

“My husband and I go here every year when we go down to Creedmoor for our family reunion. We check into our Motel, go and pick up my auntie and head straight there on the first night. My husband loves the catfish I always get the fried chicken wings. The portions are large absolutely delicious and the hush puppies are the icing on the cake. And of course I get the cheesecake for dessert. We take it back to my aunt's house. All you hear is smacking of lips no talking my favorite place to go!”

“Good service. Different than what I usually expect. My soda was diet instead of the regular I asked for but that was fine. Other than that, service was good, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I’m not from around this area so I will probably never return but I enjoyed my meal. PS, Give the chef some assistance. She told us that she cooks everything all by herself. It seems like an operation with few workers (not a bad thing) but she looks like she could use some help.”

“They are closed on Mondays and I miss them alot on that day. The food is great! I love the Classic Antipasto Salad, the Pizza and Philly Steak. The Italian sub is one of my favorites - so much better than those old chain stores! The wait staff are all clean, kind and attentive. I know some folks who drive from Raleigh 30 minutes away to eat there.”

“I will give this place 3 stars for 3 reasons none of which deals with good customer service!! 1. Just like your normal Taste of China everywhere you go. Almost the same menu, so u can order your favorite or try something new. 2. Food was actually decent and good portions. Prices is as expected for a Chinese joint. They have Sweet Biscuits( or Sweet Donuts depending on where your from) most do not have them. 3. Timing of food was decent. Food was hot. So with that being said if you like rude service and just want some Chinese food go for!! I will visit again to see if anything changed, but I will not stay an eat.”

“Amazing food! Our server, Emily, was so nice and checked on us often. Staff is excellent! My husband ordered the meatloaf with gravy, with mashed potatoes, collards, and macaroni. I got the grilled shrimp and grilled Whiting with macaroni and fried okra. Everything was great! I don't know what they use when grilling the seafood, but it has just enough bang to make it amazing! My husband is from Washington state, so getting him to eat our southern comfort food has been a challenge... but I think this restaurant definitely succeeded in turning him! We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.”

“BBQ Barn is a down to earth small town eatery. We were just passing through on our way to Asheville from Richmond to get gas. Saw it it my peripherals and walked on over. Basic menu, but very large. You can tell this is a hot spot for the locals. Reminded me of my own small hometown favorites with a southern flare :)”
