Dame's Chicken & Waffles

Food is great! Tensions must of been high today lol. Customer service is HUGE to me when u are paying $15 per person and ......well it just wasn't there today. Sad part is, no matter how good the food is, if I'm treated like a bother or I noticed someone else being treated that way, I won't be back! Most don't say it but feel the same way. Oh and PS...it was 11am. Empty. No need for rudeness. My favorite saying ever...., "If you don't like your job......QUIT!" Because many need one! Been there...I know!

With a long wait, our birthday party was finally given a space to sit down and eat. We were reserved for 12:30 and ate our meal at 2:30 pm. The floors were sticky and dark. The waiter was very professional and the food was good. But the management team of such a large crowd was not. Needs overhauling and updating in order to take care of everyone.

This place is fantastic! The variety of choices that are offered here can blow a first timer away. The sides that are served here are just as amazing as the chicken and waffles (my personal favorites are the mac and cheese and spicy collard greens). The service is some of the best in the restaurant industry. Having a knowledgeable staff that really take care of their guests is the icing on the cake.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the establishment how open, light and inviting it was. You are surrounded by black art, old school vibes with a hospitable and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed the recommendations with the ability to swap as I saw fit. The food came quickly and was hot. The sweet tea was so sweet but it nicely complimented my meal. I can see why Dame's is almost famous and it was well worth the drive and challenge to park.
