Service, food and service was amazing!
My group was greeted and warmly welcomed by the manager Brian. We also had the pleasure of having Alejandro as our bartender which he gave amazing service. Overall, Amazing experience!

The setting, ambiance and decor is very nice. They have small areas for those who love taking pictures and sharing them on social media. Our waitress Viridiana, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. She suggested some drinks and plates for us to try. We decided to try something different to what she suggested. Big mistake. We had the Fried Calamari as appetizer, was ok, but could be better. We ordered the Bandeja Paisa to try and this is where we think it needs work, the chicharrón was flavorless no salt, or anything. The sausage, was the worst, it had a really off putting taste to it, again no flavor. The arepita that comes with it was ok, but the only thing we really liked from this dish was the skirt steak. For drinks we had a piña colada and my sister had a drink called the blackberry boom. These were good, I recommend these 2 drinks. Hopefully they work on improving their dishes as they get more feedback. I’ve lived in Greensboro for 30 years, and love seeing new latin inspired restaurants coming to our area. I’m willing to comeback and give them a second chance and try something else off their menu.

The staff are so nice and welcoming and the food was out of this world. If you have Nelly as your server, you’re in GREAT hands! I recommend the empanadas and the tacos. Steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back and so happy to have this place in Greensboro

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Pura Vida Cocktail Bar Restaurant

Let's start with the appetizer, the Calamari. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few pieces of octopus and shrimp mixed in with the calamari. It added a nice variety to the dish and elevated the overall flavor. It was a delightful surprise and definitely a highlight of the meal.

For the main course, I opted for the Salmon with Mashed Potatoes. However, I must say that the salmon was just okay, nothing particularly special. It lacked that wow factor and didn't leave a lasting impression. The accompanying mashed potatoes were decent, but they didn't stand out either. Overall, the entrée was underwhelming.

On a positive note, the drinks at Pura Vida Cocktail Bar Restaurant were fantastic. They were expertly crafted, delicious, and beautifully presented. The mixologists truly know their craft and delivered a delightful drinking experience. The drinks added a touch of excitement and enhanced the overall dining experience.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also worth mentioning. It had a great vibe and a lively ambiance. The decor and music created a pleasant and enjoyable dining environment. It was a place where you could relax and have a good time.

However, there were some aspects that could be improved. Being a relatively new establishment, Pura Vida Cocktail Bar Restaurant seemed to still be adjusting. They were out of a few items that we wanted to order, and unfortunately, the waitress didn't inform us of this until we attempted to order them. This lack of communication was disappointing and affected our dining choices.

Considering all these factors, I would say that Pura Vida Cocktail Bar Restaurant might be slightly overhyped at this point. However, I believe that with time, they will have the opportunity to address these issues and provide a better dining experience.

Service was good. The food was good. But the drink prices are a different story. The L.I.T is $23.99, which is a little pricey for a cocktail. The wings are good. I should have ordered fried hard. The atmosphere is very nice.
