Southern Roots Restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They often have live music on the patio (or inside if the weather is poor). The food is always delicious, with specials every day. Also, be sure to save room for dessert! I think the strawberry red velvet is by far the best, but my boyfriend argues that it's the bread pudding. That being said, you can't go wrong either way! May as well get both!

My husband and I had been looking for something local with a different atmosphere than your normal run of the mill place. Last night we visited this wonderful establishment, to our great surprise it was just what we wanted. We entered through the patio to music not to loud but you knew it was there. Greeted quickly and set in a corner table with chairs and a bench window seat. I am in love with the decor and atmosphere and the food yes! Portions are a good size and pricing is good for local food and NC Seafood. Hubby and I both were in love. Our waiter Connor was Awesome! on top of things dishes never just left on the table and service with a Smile. We shall return soon! I want the same table in corner. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to eat and leave. Awesome

Food and service was great. Didn’t realize the “steak butter” had blue cheese in it and without hesitation the server insisted to have it replaced immediately. Excellent place for dinner!

Came here for dinner with local friends... The ambiance was nice, and this is definitely one of the better, higher-end restaurants in the area... With both an indoor and outdoor dining space. The service was excellent... But the food was not as good as expected.

This place was awesome! The atmosphere is wonderful, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! Definitely going back cause I need to take my husband! The live band was also super awesome and they played some good music! Can't wait till it warms up so we can sit in the patio area!
