1618 Seafood Grille

Great location in downtown Greensboro. The atmosphere is welcoming and service excellent. Our party of 4 had mixed reviews on dinner. Salads (Caesar and Spinach) were tasty and large portions. The salmon main course was over-cooked and dry. The blackened scallops (huge portion) were good but the stuffing was over-salted. The best meal was, by far, the brisket patty melt and sweet potato fries. Good wine selections.

1618 Wwst Seafood Grill provided us another wonderful evening! The drinks, the friendly staff, and the food were all on point! From appetizers to coffee, everything was delicious! This is the best restaurant in Greensboro hands down. The menu changes with the season to give the customers the freshest ingredients available. The explosion of flavors of things a typical person wouldn’t think to put together is my favorite part of this restaurant. They are culinary geniuses. The service is always phenomenal as well. I have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

Great food, nice spacious atmosphere. Discreet location. Friendly waiting staff, very knowledgeable and informative with menu items. Service was fast and outstanding. Reservation or walk in welcome.

Sometimes you go to a place multiple times and it’s never as good as the first. For us, never happens here. It is always simply the best. We sometimes try other “special” places for occasions and they never match up. Service great, lots of regulars on the menu but also plenty of new options. We always split an appetizer and a salad ( house salad with lemon vinaigrette is fantastic salad). THe combinations of things you’ve never thought of are always spot on. Seafood or steaks are cooked perfectly. And we always over indulge on dessert. Read some recent not as flattering recent reviews but we’ve never had a bad experience and our service is always perfectly timed, not rushed or slow. It is a well oiled upscale dinner place. The nature of the building is on the loud side so be prepared for that. It has been our favorite place for years and dinner on a busy Saturday night was perfection yet again.

So i went the first time LOVED it the food was amazing it can be really pricey but its worth it! Second time i went their loved it eve more than than first! BUT ITS NOT A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS! Especially after church when their in their church clothes. But my kids i didn't have to tell them be careful its like they blended in with the theme of fancy! I love this place!
