Ruth's Chris Steak House

The service is very nice, and the food is good. It is not what I was expecting after hearing people rave about Ruth’s Chris, though. And certainly not what I was expecting given the cost associated with dinning there. Perhaps I’m just spoiled on steaks elsewhere. It certainly was not bad in anyway. I just expected it to really pop in every way because of what I had heard and the level of dining.

Me and my very good friend ate here a week ago and the food was beyond amazing. Money well spent I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Our server was very polite and on point with everything.

This was my first time eating at Ruth's Chris. The set up was nice for my birthday on 11/12. My husband and I were waiting to get our meal and other guests were sitting at the booth behind us and their waiter asked if they've been there before. They replied saying no and their waiter went over important expectations about the food and extremely hot plates, 1800 degree oven with 500 degree plates that were going to be served. My husband and I were staring at each other like what in world first, second like our waitress never asked if we've eaten here before, third our expectations weren't set about the hot plates we were about to get. And knowing me I would be the one that would have my hand out to get my plate from the server :( When our waitress came back to our table to check on us and to let us know that our food would be out shortly, I kindly asked her about the waiter that was serving the guests behind us, telling her that he was going over some information about very hot oven and 500 degree plates that were coming out. She said oh you've never been here before and we answered no, she said she should have asked us that when she first came to the table... our steaks that we ordered were delicious but my side of garlic mash potatoes were cold... I sent them back to get another but they only brought me a new mash potato side that was more so lukewarm not hot, so I just said forget it I'm not sending it back again....

Debra was a WONDERFUL server, very attentive as was the entire staff. The food was good and hot but the steaks were cooked incorrectly unfortunately. We did not say anything b/c everyone was just so kind. The experience was really nice. I just wish for the cost the food would have been perfect.

Ruth's Chris never disappoints. Great service, great food, and quiet ambiance.
We were celebrating my son's 50th birthday. They brought out a birthday cake for my son.
Great experience. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Greensboro.
