“BEST POKE BOWL ever!!!! I can not express that enough. I have had plenty of poke bowls as well as my fair share of sushi. The tuna and salmon were fresh and all the ingredients were perfect. Ordering online was a breeze. I got the medium bowl but the helpings are huge. Whenever i come to greensboro and i am in the mood for sushi, this will be where i go!! They are not opened on Tuesday, which i found out while in Greensboro, and was sad but i will make my appointments for any day but Tuesdays from now on. That is how good this place is!”

“Poke-and-ramen seems to be the High Point area’s latest restaurant trend, and while Poke One loses some of the novelty by not getting there first, it otherwise seems poised to hold its own. Housed in the former Rockaway Eatery location, it’s clean, colorful, and spacious. The menu boasts a few Japanese apps (edamame, Takoyaki, shumai, and, oddly enough, fries) as well as milk and fruit teas, but poke (in bowl or burrito form) and ramen are the core offerings. There are about a half-dozen varieties of each, and you can also build your own of the former. Poke One wisely supplies paper menus that can be filled out to make BYO ordering efficient and convenient. For our first visit, my wife and I each got a build your own poke bowl and a milk tea (taro and strawberry, respectively). Our orders were completed very quickly, and the brightly colored bowls looked amazing. Fortunately, the flavors matched the presentation. I went with a mixture of hot (spicy salmon, spicy mayo), sour (pickled ginger, pickled radish), and sweet (mango). Add to that some cucumber for refreshment, and the bowl was nicely balanced. The ingredients were also fresh, and they don’t skimp on quantity here. The tea was rather sweet, however. Next time, I’ll go with a classic rather than a fruit flavor. What sets Poke One apart from other local options is the competitive pricing. At $11.95 for a poke bowl and $5.70 for a milk tea with bubbles, Poke One is cheaper than either Poke Dream or Ninja Café/Kung Fu Tea. Poke One may not be an innovator, but being able to provide fresh, tasty food quickly makes it a welcome addition nevertheless.”

“This is one of the Best Starbucks in the area! The music here is amazing and diverse. You can tell the staff tried their best to create an inclusive environment. The manager cares about their customers. My drink was a little late then expected and they offered me a coupon on my next Starbucks purchase. This place is really great they are doing their best here. I even saw one of the workers bring the customers order to their hand. Amazing place to get coffee or just work.”

“So excited about this new spot! We went twice in one weekend - one morning for coffee & pastries, and one evening for wine for adults & ice cream for our little one. Super friendly service, a great concept. They have a comprehensive menu with great snacks to pick up for breakfast (bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls) and a great coffee/espresso menu. “Within the first few days of the stores opening, the have offered free coffee the entire weekend and about 10cents less gas prices than the rest of the surrounding area gas stations. The inside sitting area is very convenient as most Sheetz dont have an area or it is outside. 1 star has been taken because of customer service. Noticeably within 3 visits I have seen an employee whispering, yet pointing at a customer; an employee standing idle at the register looking at the customer instead of politely being vocal in order to help them. There is much work to do in that area.”

We were greeted by a young lady and man at the door to find a long wait(as expected during this covid crisis) We were given a quote of 40 minutes and asked to wait outside) I have 4 little girls and it was HOT out. My husband raves about their food so we figured we'd wait it out. At about 25 minutes or so in the manager came outside and gave my girls water and apologized for the sun( I thought that was funny and a genuine thing to do. We were seated after about 50 minutes then got a text. When we finally sat down our server was there quickly. The decor was beautiful. The French toast we had was heaping with fruit and sparkled with sugar dust. Quite a wait but worth it. My lil ones favorite new place. We waited a bit longer then we wanted, but oh so worth it. “When the Italian spot in this location closed, I was kind of sad. But the replacement is pretty unbelievable. Kung Fu Tea is growing fast on the national level, and it's awesome that we have one here in Greensboro. I tried the spicy tuna sushi "burrito" which was basically a huge, amazing, uncut sushi roll sliced in half. It came with a cup of meso soup which was flavorful and a bit on the salty side. I also tried a bubble tea for the first time, standard Kung Fu milk tea flavor, and it was unusual but really good. If you enjoy Asian food, you HAVE to try this place. Highly recommend.”

“The loveliest lady running the coffee shop. She wanted nothing more then for her customers to enjoy their entire experience. She gave my siblings and I a little lemon pie for free while we were waiting. Coffee was delicious, different syrups than you would get from your average coffee shop. The beautiful writing she puts on top of the drinks is just the icing on the cake!”
