“Love the new location here in Coats, NC! I think it's super cool how the restuarant is set up, allowing customers to watch the orders being made! I have been to this establishment multiple times, and there is one employee specifically, who when working, makes my visit that much more enjoyable. Her name is Alyssa, she is a manager, and she really knows how to treat her customers. She goes above & beyond to ensure my satisfaction each and every time. It doesn't matter how busy she is, (and believe me, I've seen her absolutely swamped) she always is there to greet you as you walk in with a smile and positive, cheerful, upbeat attitude!! As long as Alyssa is there to greet me, I will continue to be a loyal customer!!!”

“This little Mexican restaurant - named after the Emilio Zapata of the Mexican Revolution - had amazingly good food and amazingly kind staff. The owner shared with us about the name of the shop (you should ask him some time), and then recommended some dishes to us. He was humorous as well as generous. A nice little hole in the wall. Recommended if you want great Mexican food and a good price!”

“Normally I am very pleased with cornerstone cafe. But as of tonight I will not return. After tball practice tonight at 7:30 my family and I decided to go to cornerstone. (They sponsor my daughter tball team) They close at 8. We walked in the door at 7:40. They fella approached the register and informed us that they were closing in 13 minutes and they had cleaned up already.... Absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant in any town. I took my money elsewhere. Update: The owners have reached out to me, and addressed the situation very professionally. This alone brought my review up. Says a lot about the business owners.????”

“Great experience as always. The staff is amazing the food is great and the singing on Thursday is always good. Mrs. Kitty makes sure everything runs smooth and that everyone is taken care of. It’s buffet served cafeteria style. They have really good BBQ and chicken. They always have shrimp and fish too. The sides are out of this world. If you miss something just let your wait staff know and they will bring it to you. We always enjoy going to Ron’s Barn.”
