Excellent food, excellent service. Casual atmosphere, no "airs" put on. Very good local craft beer selection. Not big in overall numbers, but a good variety in the selection.

Top notch food and service. I ordered the brisket stack, which was a ton of brisket with sauce and cheese and crispy fried onions, between two buns, for my sides I ordered the cheesy grits and Mac n cheese. The brisket was perfectly Smokey and tender, the house sauce on it was very nice. The grits were authentic stone ground, with just the right blend of white and cheddar cheese to make the dish perfect. The Mac n cheese was very good too. For desert I ordered the creme brulee, it was very good.

A first rate dining experience. The barbecue is excellent as well as their perfectly prepared baked beans. Service is friendly and very fast. However, customers are clumped together despite lots of space being available. Restaurants please take notice, it’s ok to spread out diners. Parking spaces are tight for full size vehicles. Those are just nits and don’t let that prevent you from enjoying a wonderful meal here.

We had a great experience at Flat Rock Wood Room. The food was really great. The ribs were some of the best I have ever had and I worked in a BBQ restaurant for 16 years. Other members of the party from St. Louis agreed. Pizza and salads were great too. The owner came to the table to check on us and was friendly and fun. We will definitely be back.

Try the cornbread. This place is amazing. The service is always wonderful. It's got these great old grain and flour sacks on the ceiling. We discovered this place one evening after picking apples. Now my husband comes here every month after he goes mountain biking in Dupont. He makes sure to bring home some cornbread. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. They've got a great selection. It's a must try place. You'll love it!
