    We have been to West First Wood-Fired each time we have been to Asheville. They change up their pizzas periodically but they always put together something delicious. Last time we went we had a lamb pizza. This time we got a meat pizza, smoked salmon pizza, and bbq chicken pizza. They were all good as expected so good my guys already started pulling slices before I could get a picture.

    The place was hopping when we arrived and the predicted a 20-25 minute wait. We didn't even wait 10 minutes. The service is great and the food is delicious. Even with them being packed they were on top of everything. At one point, just after getting seated, I realized we didn't have cutlery or napkins. It was almost like the server read my mind, cause they showed up just seconds later. They were rolling them at that moment to keep up. The garlic knots were great, the caprese salad was just what I wanted and the BBQ Chicken pizza was lovely. My husband thought it could have used a bit more sauce. There wasn't any left to complain about though. Great atmosphere, great food. We'll be back!

    We were sat at our table and waited 30 minutes before a server even looked our way. The food was delicious but the service made for a terrible experience for me and my family. We probably won't be back. I gave two stars for the food. But the service needs to be on par with the food to make it great.

    Side note we went back 2 months after our first experience. The service was much improved. I have changed my rating from a 2 to a 4 star for the improvement in the service.

    Very good dinner...trendy pizza and dinner place... my wife had seafood pasta with mussles, shrimp & salmon... its was fabulous... i had personal pizza with sausage and prosciutto - best i have had... great taste and the crust was outstanding!!!
    Has a full bar as well... our waiter was very efficient friendly.
    Give it a try some evening

    We went here last night for my birthday and were extremely pleased with the restaurant. The pizzas that we had were absolutely fantastic. Our server was very engaging and polite. The atmosphere was comfortable. we will definitely be coming back here for future meals.
