Brooks Tavern

My daughter, four grandchildren, and I discovered this lunch spot today in Hendersonville. We had a fabulous lunch! The candied bacon was a hit for sure and the Patty Melt is delicious! Great selection of beers on tap and the kids were welcomed. Can’t beat that!

Great food. My wife had a BLT. The bacon is sugared a little too much but there was plenty of it and she got soup as a side. The soup was good and hot.
I had fried chicken sandwich. They served a whole butterflied chicken breast hanging off the roll. It was great. They had Duke's Mayo packets, but if the kitchen could make up a sauce for this sandwich they would not be able to keep people away. It was great.
The restaurant was packed. We sat at the bar. Ian took care of us and did a great job; even as he handled a full restaurant's worth of drinks.

Just decent bar food. The blackened chicken nachos were actually pretty good. Be aware that this place is Covid-19 heaven....no masks on anyone, the entire staff included. Not a comfortable situation when a server is in your face.

Little tavern, went there because of high reviews and was not disappointed! The waiter/bar men was awesome. Beer was very good and fresh, and food was very tasty. I noticed that this tavern was filled by mostly locals, it’s one block away from the main shopping street, so you have to know it’s there to find it I guess.

Great place! Came in with my girlfriend on the way home from a weekend trip. Friendly beautiful spot. Always great seeing the owner active in the operation! Full bar , domestic and ipas! I recommend a stop if in the area!
