Burntshirt Vineyards

Really excited to have found this spot. Came here on my birthday for a wine tasting and food. We really enjoyed the warmed Brie with fig. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. All of the staff were kind and informative. They offered to turn on the heaters for us when we wanted to sit outside. Great views of the vineyards. This place is hard to beat. Definitely a must see in Asheville 😊

We loved the chilled out atmosphere of this vineyard. Beautiful area to enjoy a glass of wine, a flight or a tasting experience. The outside sitting area that overlooks the vineyard/highway was amazing. Open areas or covered seating are available. There is a nice gift shop outside or in the tasting room. There is a restaurant on the property but we did not try it.

The venue is amazing and Ben, our server, was wonderful. We did come on a Tuesday afternoon so not a busy time. We weren't thrilled with the wines, neither the whites nor the reds. That said, we're not wine experts but just know what we like. The reds were too dry and not very complicated. The white we tried (Sunset Sippen') was uninteresting. They have, at this time, a rating of 4.4 with many reviews so worth a try.

When we went it was November and they had beautiful Christmas decor!
The wine was great, lots of options from sweet to dry and very knowledgeable sommeliers.

My sister booked a private tour & tasting followed by a dinner for my bachelorette party weekend. Dave welcomed us with open arms and treated us like royalty! It was truly a special experience! The wine and the tour was amazing and the dinner was fabulous! The service was wonderful and this was definitely the highlight of our trip!! Such a great spot!!!
