We tried it when family was in town for Christmas and it was so fun. I would warn people it’s a lot to casual seating with some tables throughout. We hoped for a table, but the couch and chair setup we were given were actually perfect and so comfortable. The boards are beautiful and so delicious. They have great drink choices & the service was perfect. I highly recommend.

I just want to begin by saying that the severs and owner are INCREDIBLY friendly and attentive. I love charcuterie as much as the next person but I do have a few opinions regarding the ones we ordered on our visit.

First, there is WAY too much food on the boards. It was almost like a treasure hunt as we grazed. The further we got, the more food we found. Definitely an unconventional way of arrangement. I would happily pay higher prices for less food at higher quality. I was pretty underwhelmed by the cheeses we ordered; the Brie was served in tiny wedges that either were packaged that way or cut from a tiny wheel which was disappointing because I am a huge Brie lover. The bleu cheese was all right, but again, not very high quality. We could’ve lived without the chèvre log. The fruits on the board were out of season and the dried fruits were unnecessary. The vegetable board was good and I really enjoyed the pickles. I would’ve liked to have had fresh baguette instead of crackers and pita. I ordered a mimosa and it lacked effervescence so much so that I had to order another and asked for a new bottle of sparkling wine to be used. The new one was much better.

Second, there is no vent or hood at the grilling station and the first thing I noticed as soon as we walked in was the amount of smoke in the room. In fact, it eventually got so smoky that the fire alarm went off and the fire department showed up. I wasn’t aware that a vent was not mandatory to operate a restaurant.

Third, the space has nice potential but the atmosphere was a little chaotic for me. The music was too loud and the lights were too bright. I do think there ought to be more dining table options as I’m not a big fan of eating while sitting on couches. Plus, the table got crowded quite quickly once the food started coming out.

I need to reiterate that the staff were so nice and welcoming and despite all I’ve mentioned we did have a lovely evening. Our requests were met with expediency and we are looking forward to visiting again soon. We always support our local businesses with enthusiasm and are ecstatic to have such a unique restaurant in our neighborhood!

If you’re a fan of charcuterie and whiskey then look no further! This is a must try! We had the hunter board for our main dish and baked oysters paired with Brie for “appetizers”. The hunter board included the best duck I’ve ever had and the boar sausage was delicious! I will definitely be returning to try their other offerings.

The seating was unique to say the least but the food made the experience!

For the third day of being open i would say they did an excellent job. The atmosphere was great in a dimly lit old brick building added a cozy vibe. Our waiter was top notch and professional letting us know when are food would be ready with a packed house. The cocktails started off the evening, id say get the sheep's clothing if you enjoy i good whiskey. After a couple drinks the food arrived and it was delicious. Definitely a must try if you like charcuterie boards and a good cocktail.
