Pro: My in laws live in the area and every now and then we enjoy staying in a hotel because it feels more like a mini getaway. We were looking up hotels in the area because the one in Brevard we were staying at previously was not working out. The reviews for the Inn and the food had high ratings. We decided to take a chance and book a room. Everything lived up to my expectations. The staff which I later came to find out, are all family and we're the sweetest. If you have a chance to watch their story, I highly suggest it on their website. The breakfast was amazing and the tables were beautifully set up with fresh flowers. The rooms were the cutest. The view was breathtaking and you could just feel the calm over the property. It was a very relaxing stay. We always have the option to stay with my in-laws for free, but we love this place so much, we'll be back again!
Con: My husband said there were not any three prong outlets (not including the power strip), therefore they are not grounded. If that's important to anyone, keep that in mind.
I stayed 2 nights and 3 days last weekend and it was really relaxing! The bed and breakfast is beautiful and I can tell that the owners are working to get it to where it needs to be! Because They were pretty much booked all up, I had to stay in two separate rooms in order to stay as long as I wanted. The first room was a little noisy and I didn’t get a lot of sleep due to that. The second room was so quiet! Peace and Quiet is what I was there for!! ? ?? At least When I return I know which room to stay in from now on!
The breakfast was good and the restaurant was good. Customer service was ok as well. If you’re going to be in the area, It’s definitely worth staying here! It is located near so many different attractions! My favorite was the park at flat rock!!! Best park I’ve ever been to! I spent 4 hours there! Grab some food from one of the grocery stores and have a nice quiet picnic there! They have a beautiful little river there too! I’ll be back!
We were there for a wedding. What a great place to have our family and friends together. We were able to visit and spend time together. All of the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. They went out of their way to see that we had a great experience. The food was excellent, the servers excellent and very attentive. The meal price was good...the meal I was served would have been double the price in the area I am from. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. You could hear noise a little too easily but other than that our stay was great and I would go back again.
Cozy place with character! Room was clean and welcoming! Smelled like it was cleaned with natural cleaners instead of chlorine. Big puffy towels.
Breakfast is included and wonderful! We will definitely come back!
Beautiful inn. The new owners have created a true destination worth visiting.
Updated review - We had dinner at the new restaurant and were very pleased with the food, view, and service. The truffle fries were perfectly cooked and so savory. I had the salmon risotto and my husband had chicken Parmesan. The portion sizes were not generous without being tacky. The chef flavored the dishes perfectly - not overly seasoned, but not bland. Also, the Napa Valley Cabernet (Aquinas) was the perfect pairing for this fresh Italian dinner. We will definitely be back for dinner!
