SKYLARANNA Hotel & Resort

Where do I start? Skylaranna was an awesome experience for me and my family, especially because we felt at home being out of home. Erin was exceptional with us and she was always there to solve any issues or answer any questions we may had.

Rooms were very modern, and the rest of the house was in pretty good shape, including the garden and surroundings.

Even Connor, Erin’s son, was very helpful and kind throughout the whole trip; along with Jody and they housekeeping staff, which was very attentive during our stay.

The only thing I wish they could improve would be the A/C. I know they’re located in an area where an A/C is rarely needed during winter, but unfortunately nights weren’t that cold during our stay and we had some trouble dealing with the heat in our rooms due to the heater working form other rooms (boiler room system). Erin kindly explained to me that it was difficult to provide heat to one room and cold to another one at the same time, which I completely understood. However, I wish they could add some mini splits or a more independent system.

Other than that, I highly recommend Skylaranna to anyone visiting the area. 5 stars, no doubter.

Property was beautiful, clean and everything we needed for an overnight stay to the Asheville area. Check in is contactless and simple, they are quick to respond if needed.

For the reviews complaining about breakfast…if you’ve traveled any at all then you know that continental breakfast does not typically include hot items, so the description tells you exactly what you’re getting.

If ever needed, we would definitely return.

The rooms and facility were all very clean and comfortable. This trip would not have been the same without Erin. She was so accommodating and made sure we had everything and anything we needed. I will be coming back to Skylaranna resort because of her. See you so soon!! :)

Beautiful and quiet!!! Perfect place for a weekend getaway!!! The staff (Erin)was nice and helpful!!! They have construction going on right now but it didn't bother us...we stayed in the looking glass falls room..it has a beautiful view of the mountains and is on the 4th floor!! We will definitely return to enjoy the whole resort!! Excited for the cabins to come!!!

Picturesque and quaint! My spouse and I had a great time during our night here. Our room, the Looking Glass Falls room, had the best view in a hotel I've ever had! Imagine waking up to a postcard perfect view of the Appalachians!

The decor is very fresh and fits the area well with all the split agate art on the walls. The free breakfast is a great start to the day.

Erin was a fantastic host and told us about the expansions being added in the next year. We'll definitely be back soon!
