“Mike's On Main is a classic throwback to the fountain soda days of the old pharmacy in Hendersonville's historic district. Prices and options are all in line for a great meal. I opted for the Ruben on Sourdough bread with coleslaw, as an upgrade to the chips, with a sweet tea. It was delicious to say the least. To finish the meal off, I selected a hand scooped strawberry malted milkshake. Mike's does not disappoint and I will most certainly be back.”

“Parking sucks in downtown if you drive a truck. The barmaids were never taught to properly pour a Guinness. You don't sit a vertical glass under the tap and pour, it's not a bud light. The place was packed, and lined out the door on St. Patrick's day. I had bangers and mash and it was very good. I make my own homemade bangers that are delicious, but they may have me beat there. Overall, the food was awesome, especially considering how busy they were, and the service was great, even though shift change.”

“I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here yesterday. I had a chicken salad sandwich and the best potato soup that I have ever had. My friend had a yummy Greek salad with chicken. The service was not only warm and friendly, but our order was out incredibly fast, it was accurate and best of all delicious. When I told one of the owners how much I loved the soup she surprised me with a complimentary to go order of it to enjoy later! That was so kind of her! The owners both mingled with patrons and ensured that everyone was happy. I definitely give them all thumbs up. Restrooms were clean, and the dining area was nice and clean, from dirty tables.”

“One of my favorite Waffle House locations. Kind of hard to get to, but worth the effort. This Waffle House is extra tiny, so sometimes getting a table can be a challenge. I always check to see how many cars are in their lot before going in. The food is standard Waffle House (LOVE their raisin toast!) fare and that's a good thing, except for bacon. That hasn't changed in years, so I just get sausage instead. The staff is always tops.”

My favorite thing was the Bourbon Chicken with white rice. The display {in my opinion} was what made me give u guys 5 stars. No one wants to eat something that doesn't attract the eyes and the stomach. [The baked fish could use some work] ”
