“It seems this restaurant has been around forever. There are always cars outside and that’s a good sign that it is popular. Recently, I had the open faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, and potato salad. The mashed potatoes and potato salad were the best that I’ve ever had anywhere. The roast beef was OK. The gravy is also outstanding. Great service! Excellent parking. Too bad they close at 2 PM as it would be a great dinner spot. Highly recommend.”

“Blue Ridge Pizza catered our wedding in 2018 and was a HUGE hit. They were professional but relaxed and great to work with throughout the whole process; their catering service was everything we needed for our “rustic” Virginia wedding. The portable wood-fired oven is so cool and, most importantly, makes delicious pizza! Our guests are still talking about how good it was, even a year later. Can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“was with a group of people and we walked over and looked inside the brewery and then decided we were going to hang out until dinner, we put our name on the list and walked around in the garden they have outback with our beers. we found an upstairs area that allowed us to sit outside close to another bar enjoying all of the different beers they. when it was dinner time we all ordered something different and shared and we ordered every single dessert they had to offer because we may have had some beer ;) the food was impeccable the place is absolutely clean and the staff is really friendly.”

“We stopped twice and enjoyed the beer both times. On our first stop, Jenny was working and the place got pretty busy late in the afternoon. Jenny is a great bartender and interacted with her customers. We stopped again and the bartender working was a bit standoffish and not engaging at all. She only had one other customer which kind of tells the story. We had one and left that time. Worth a stop and hope for Jenny to be working.”

“This visit was better then my last but this restaurant still needs improvement. Our waiter was the best part of our dinner. He was friendly and took care of our needs. I ordered the cheeseburger sliders with the Garden Bar. It took a really long time for the sliders to come out to the table. The restaurant was not busy at the time. I know sliders are small but I was expecting the patties to be more than a half bit size. I had food cooked better by little kids. I used to love going to Rudy Tuesday that is why I gave this location chance after chance. If it was not our waiter and the great service he gave us and the other customers around us, this would have been the last time. Maybe I will try again but there are other restaurant close by with better food and service. The restaurant looked clean including the restroom.”

“WOW! A standout affordable place! I stayed here while en route on my move from DC to New Orleans. I needed a good, clean, quiet place along the way and this place was PERFECT. My room was spacious and very neat, available right away, and I booked only a week in advance for a weekend night so I was so grateful they were able to accommodate me. The staff were really sweet, I even got my money back when the vending machine didnt dispense my midnight M&M craving on first go! LOL I have stayed at many budget motels and hotels and this place did not have that cheap feel. The beds and bathroom were squeaky clean, everything seemed freshly painted and new. Even the towels were not scratchy or stiff like I've come to expect from more affordable places, they were soft and nice. Despite being in a busy area it was quiet at night. This place is definitely your best option in the area!”
