“Went to this place for the first time and ordered the steak and carnitas platter. Both were well seasoned, the steak platter was meaty and had an abundance of vegetables. Both platers come with rice and beans. The portions didn't look as if it was a lot of food but once we we're finished eating we were pretty well full.”

“People complaining about the ID check need to realize these people have a job to do. How hard is it to have your ID. These people work really hard keeping the store clean, stocked and ready for customers. Rude people coming in and yelling at clerks and i have seen the clerks smile and be respectful. Always stocked and clean. Remember to treat people who do you service with kindness and they will return it.”

“My husband and I love fresh seafood. This place is awesome. Jason the owner, is a retired military man and has all the knowledge of seafood from shellfish to whole fish from our great North Carolina coastlines. The menu also offers a fresh market, from clams, oysters, tuna, salmon, and my favorite, scallops. Take time to visit Jason at Simply Better!”

“A bit pricey for the whole family. Food was delicious, but took a while to get to us. Portion sizes are huge, so I would just get one thing to share for kids. Tables aren't cleaned as much as I would like, but they are always swamped with customers, so I cant hold that against them. Love that you can see them cook and prepare food from your seat. Staff are patient and friendly, from my experience. 4/5 would come again.”

“My husband and I eat here all the time. Pretty much the only place we eat in the area. It’s always really clean, atmosphere is nice and it’s spacey inside. Our food is always hot and delicious. We love the hibachi and pork dumplings. We also like how you can pick up your own sauce cups, so you can get whatever you want without having to ask for more.”
