Davino's Pizza of Mooresville

Tonight was my first time ordering from here I tried the chicken Parmesan with angel haired pasta that was a little to saucey and plain tasting for my liking. I also got a Philadelphia Cheesesteak sub that was good. And the lady who took my ordering was very nice and patient.

Update*** I received a call from the manager who takes a lot of pride in this restaurant. I was offered a free order to replace the incorrect one we received. I’m very impressed with the response to this review and the outcome. Adding a star for excellent customer service.
Original post***Our order was completely wrong. We paid $32.00 for a 10” and 18” pizzas and both were not what we asked for as far as toppings. We clearly and specifically stated what we wanted when we called. It was fairly simple as one was supposed to be only cheese. However, as messed up as the orders were, the pizzas tasted excellent. The sauce, crust, and thinness of the pizzas were spot on. The kitchen is not the area that needs improvement...

Ordered delivery from Davino's for the first time today, they come highly recommended from friends so I decided to try them out. Authentic, fantastic NY-style pizza, we ordered a 'build your own', which came to us piping hot, fresh and just damn delicious! Staff are wonderful with a great sense of humor and professionalism, truly a fantastic pizza place! Will make it my go-to joint! Thanks guys!

That 10" buffalo chicken pizza was delicious. The crust is nice and light and crispy. That might be the best buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had. They even threw me a garlic knot for free while I waited! I was surprised they were not more busy. Davino's is a hole in the wall, but if all their pizzas are that delicious they should be slinging pizzas out like crazy on a Sunday at 6 PM.
