    This was my first time at the restaurant. It has a nice friendly atmosphere.The employees are very nice, and the food was exceptional. I had the quesadillas with chicken with the fajita vegetables, it was outstanding.

    Wonderful service and the menu wasn't just the same old Mexican entrees. We will definitely be back

    Matalan Mexican Restaurant offers a varied take out menu. As well as a dining room. Only had take out 3x, each has been tasty. Ordered Gluten Free with rice. Sauce was tasty!
    Noticed that offer Tues take out special. Will have to go again soon.
    They are located nearby Harris Teeter at Rt 150 & Perth Road.

    Very fresh and friendly staff. Lunch is quick and portion sizes are great. Kinda hidden in that shopping center but a nice spot otherwise.
